This paper presents a web-based framework for the application of formative assessment to literature course.Beginning with a discussion on why formative assessment strategies should be applied,the paper proceeds to suggest a web-based framework consisting of three e-tivities.The paper finally points out the anticipated results of implementing such a framework of formative assessment in terms of improved quality of teaching and learning and personal development.
