Observation was made to see the curative effect of herbal fumigation and steaming on Bi syndrome. Herbs were chosen with the function of expelling wind and removing pain to treat 364 patients with Bi syndrome. After 3 to 30 times of treatment, 42 cases were cured clinically, 315 improved, and 7 remained ineffective with the total effective rate amounting to 98.08%. It is concluded that herbal fumigation and steaming therapy is an effective way to treat Bi syndrome with less damage for the gastro intestinal tract.
