In this article:According to clinical practice as well as the relevant materials recorded in classical medical literatures such as Internal Classic,this article expounds the theory of “the liver as a delicate Zang-organ” on the basis of the liver as a soft,tender,moist,conciliatory and frangile Zang-organ. In conclusion,the author emphasizes that the liver disease “should be treated with mild drugs in stead of potent drugs and the liver is suitable to be nourished and harmonized rather than to be dissipated and inhibited” so that it’s normal state of softness can be maintained and a full play can be given to its physiological function.
