Input and output are two major terminal actions in second language acquisition.For these two actions scholars have carried out a great number of researches.Among them the most famous are Krashen’s Input Hypothesis and Output Hypothesis.
Exploring the features and translation of movie titles within the framework of Nida's functional equivalence theory, this paper mainly aims to discuss the limitations of this theory and in the end proposes some methods in producing good translations of movie titles.
