Bolothrips icarus （Uzel） and B. bicolor （Heeger） are newly recorded from China. This represents the first record of the genus Bolothrips （Uzel） in China. Examined specimens are deposited in the Entomological Museum, Northwest A＆F University, Yangling, Shaanxi, China （NWAFU）.
