本研究采用定量与定性相结合的方法,对大学生的英语听力策略进行调查研究,旨在了解我国大学生英语听力策略的现状,以及策略使用是否在学生不同专业、年级和听力水平中存在差异,以期为英语听力教学提供启发,提高大学生的英语听力水平。调查发现,我国大学生主要采用认知策略,较少使用元认知策略与社交/情感策略;不同专业、年级以及听力水平的学生使用英语听力策略的情况各有不同。基于研究发现,提出转变大学生对听力学习的固有认知、提高大学生对元认知策略的重视程度等相关建议。This study adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate the English listening strategies of college students, aiming to understand the current situation of English listening strategies among Chinese college students and whether there are differences in the use of strategies among students in different majors, grades, and listening levels, providing inspiration for English listening teaching and improving the English listening level of college students. The survey found that Chinese college students mainly use cognitive strategies and less use metacognitive strategies and social/emotional strategies;the use of English listening strategies varies among students of different majors, grades, and listening levels. Based on research findings, relevant suggestions are proposed to transform the inherent cognition of college students towards listening learning and increase their emphasis on metacognitive strategies.
随着心理学与二语习得领域的不断融合,坚毅人格在二语习得领域开始受到关注。文章对二语坚毅这一人格特征展开调查,在国内五所高校大一至研究生学生中回收有效问卷344份,旨在探索大学生英语学习坚毅的内容结构、使用现状、总体特点和差异表现。探索性因子分析表明二语坚毅由不懈努力和如一兴趣2个因子组成。通过描述性因子分析、单因素方差分析和独立样本T检验进一步发现,大学生二语坚毅水平呈现良好面貌,其中不懈努力程度略低于如一兴趣,低年级学生在如一兴趣方面普遍优于高年级学生。研究结果为促进大学生英语学习和教师个性化教学提供了参考和启发。With the continuous integration of psychology and second language acquisition, grit began to attract attention in the field of second language acquisition. This paper conducts a survey on the personality characteristic of L2-grit, and collects 344 valid questionnaires from freshmen to graduate students in five domestic universities, aiming to explore the content structure, use situation, overall characteristics and different performance of college students’ English learning grit. Exploratory factor analysis shows that L2-grit consists of two factors: unremitting effort and consistency of interest. Through descriptive factor analysis, one-factor analysis of variance and independent sample T-test, it was further found that the L2-grit level of college students showed a good appearance, in which the degree of perseverance of effort was slightly lower than that of consistency of interest, and lower grade students were generally better than senior students in terms of consistency of interest. The results provide reference and inspiration for promoting English learning and teachers’ personalized teaching.

For college students, mastering fluent English not only facilitates deeper academic research but also serves as an essential skill for future workplace competition. However, learning English within a Chinese language environment poses numerous challenges for college students. The significant differences between Chinese and English in terms of language structures, cultural backgrounds and other aspects often lead to confusion and obstacles in the process of English language learning. Therefore, conducting a thorough study on the impact of the Chinese language environment on college students’ English learning and proposing effective strategies are crucial for enhancing their English learning efficiency and quality. This article focuses on the disparities in language structures, cultural backgrounds and other aspects between English and Chinese, analyzing their specific influences on college students’ English learning. Subsequently, it offers measures to assist students in efficiently mastering English within a Chinese language environment, upgrading their overall English proficiency.
